About Us

Rana Melis Karaoğlu was born and raised in Istanbul. After completing high school, she moved to the United Kingdom to prepare for university and improve her language skills, gaining exposure to diverse cultures and developing an international perspective.

While studying Hotel Management at Özyeğin University, she also trained in gastronomy at Le Cordon Bleu Istanbul. These experiences provided her with valuable insights into hospitality, culinary arts, and service management, shaping her decision to pursue a career in the food and beverage industry.

During her university years, she began learning Chinese and Spanish. Motivated by her interest in Chinese culture, she received a scholarship from the Chinese government to study at Fudan University and Peking University in Shanghai and Beijing. During her time in China, she not only focused on academic studies but also engaged in professional business environments, gaining firsthand experience of Chinese work culture, values, principles, and discipline.

Her experiences in Turkey, the UK, and China allowed her to develop a multicultural perspective, refine her aesthetic sensibilities, and understand how lifestyles influence gastronomy. She recognized that technology would profoundly transform the gastronomy world in the coming years, that experience-focused dining was becoming increasingly important, and that the industry needed to evolve accordingly. All of these insights came to life through the creation of the RAME brand.

RAME operates with a production approach focused on large-scale orders of 1,000 units or more, offering custom-designed and packaged chocolates for corporate companies, chain brands, hotel groups, and commercial enterprises with high consumption capacity.
